Ekoenergetyka-Polska has prepared an individual solution for the Dutch public transport operator. The charging station with a capacity of 1.2 MW closed in a container is able to power 20 electric buses simultaneously! It will be installed in Zeist, a town near Utrecht. However, it is constructed in such a way that it can be transported to any place.

 

Mega Charger X 1200 – a new product of the Ekoenergetyka-Polska is based on the concept of a central high-power charging station for electric buses.It is a multi-output device, whose power can be divided according to the needs and delivered to vehicles using various types of dispensers with plug-in CCS Combo. 1.2 MW of Mega Charger X closed in a container facilitates transport.  The company has experience in constructing megastations. A similar solution, also with a capacity of 1.2 MW was implemented in Hamburg, but there the device was placed in a stationary, concrete housing.

The 1.2 MW megastation for Qbuzz is encased in a metal container. It will be connected to 20 Point Zero dispensers with CCS Combo 2 plugs, which will power 60 kW Ebusco electric buses. The company has experience in constructing megastations. A similar solution, also with a capacity of 1.2 MW was implemented in Hamburg, but there the device was placed in a stationary, concrete housing.

The 1.2 MW megastation for Qbuzz is encased in a metal container. It will be connected to 20 Point Zero satellites with CCS Combo 2 plugs, which will power 60 kW Ebusco electric buses. This is a new solution developed by Ekoenergetyka-Polska.The whole station can be moved to another place.  For the time being, however, the Dutch operator Qbuzz will install the station in the bus depot near Utrecht, in Zeist.

It was quite a challenge to adapt a solution that would work in a small depot space. The buses are parked a few dozen centimetres apart. Ekoenergetyka-Polska designed the infrastructure so as not to hinder drivers and service.

– We listen carefully to our customers and create solutions that will fully meet their needs. The Qbuzz received from us a charging station with all necessary infrastructure. When the contract between the operator and the city is over, the company can move it to any place of business. – says Vice President of Ekoenergetyka-Polska Maciej Wojeński.

The Netherlands has a plan to replace the bus fleet with zero emission vehicles by 2025. Qbuzz is one of the largest Dutch companies operating in the public transport sector – currently there are 99 fully electric buses in its fleet. Ekoenergetyka-Polska designed the infrastructure so as not to hinder drivers and service staff.

On the 9th of October we received the award “There is no future without entrepreneurship” in the category “Polish Product”. VII edition of the project was held under the slogan “COMPANYER – TAXER, WORKER, PARTNER”.

This is how Dziennik Gazeta Prawna justified the awarding of the “Polish Product” prize to Ekoenergetyka.

 

The award was received by the Vice-President of Ekoenergetyka-Polska Maciej Wojeński – I would like to thank our European customers, because it is thanks to them that we are actually creating solutions that pose ever greater challenges in terms of charging entire fleets of electric vehicles, which the market is already expecting,” he said.

 

During this action, journalists, entrepreneurs and government representatives jointly undertake actions to promote and develop entrepreneurship in our country. The award is granted to companies whose products, services and technologies are successful on the market in Poland and abroad, are an example of excellent quality and modernity, have a huge potential, are a reason for satisfaction and pride.

High-speed EV chargers in Orlen stations


PKN ORLEN completed the tender procedure for suppliers of charging stations for electric cars. Fast charging of EVs will be possible in 150 locations located both in cities and along transit routes throughout Poland. In the first stage of the pilot project, by the end of 2019, approximately 50 points will be launched.


Ekoenergetyka-Polska as infrastructure provider


The completed tender included the selection of suppliers of 50, 100 and 150 kW chargers that allow fast charging of electric vehicles. One of the three producers of charging infrastructure selected in the tender is Ekoenergetyka-Polska. The task of the selected companies is to prepare a project, provide the stations with their installation and service. PKN ORLEN charging points will serve all types of electric cars offered on the European market and will be equipped with three charging plugs – CHAdeMO and CCS (with direct current) and a Type 2 (with alternating current) connector.


As part of the pilot programme, the first charging station for electric cars is already operating in Płock near PKN Orlen, where drivers can benefit from free charging of their vehicles. The 50 kW charging station is designed for both electric (EV) and hybrid (PHEV) vehicles and offers the possibility of charging 4 vehicles at the same time. The power for each of the stations is dynamically allocated by the station’s controller during charging, thanks to which it will be possible to significantly shorten its time.
