Ekoenergetyka-Polska establishes cooperation with Indonesia

The Polish-Indonesian Platform for Electromobility has been launched. The new initiative, implemented in cooperation with the Polish Chamber of Electromobility Development (PIRE), was inaugurated during the official visit of the Indonesian Ambassador to Poland at Ekoenergetyka-Polska S.A.

Her Excellency Siti Nugraha Mauludiah, Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Poland, came to Zielona Góra at the invitation of Ekoenergetyka-Polska S.A. and PIRE. On December 17, 2020, the Ambassador met with the company’s Management Board to discuss the development of cooperation with the Indonesian side, who is interested in implementing the solutions and products created by the Polish leader in the field of electromobility.

After the discussions and arrangements with the Ambassador, Dagmara Duda, President of the Management Board of Ekoenergetyka-Polska S.A. commented: – The visit of Her Excellency, Ambassador Siti Nugraha Mauludiah, is not only symbolic. We are starting cooperation, which will yield tangible results in the upcoming months. We have inaugurated the Polish-Indonesian Platform for Electromobility and we are handing over to the Indonesian side our modern Axon charging station, which will be installed in Indonesia in the first quarter of 2021. This is just the first step in the development of our cooperation, which will involve sharing knowledge and experience, and offering modern solutions for electromobility-oriented cities, operators of transportation systems and users of electric vehicles.

The charging station provided by Ekoenergetyka is equipped with three standard plugs and protocols that enable charging of all types of cars. The station has a power of 50, 100 and 150 kW. It allows to charge three vehicles at the same time, and the high output power significantly speeds up the charging process.

Maciej Wojeński, President of the Management Board of Ekoenergetyka Sales, which is responsible for the sales of charging stations on the domestic and foreign markets, familiarised the Indonesian delegation with the company’s solutions that have already been implemented and functioning on 16 markets. He also presented innovative products of Ekoenergetyka, including the latest Axon Pay charging station with an integrated payment terminal. The offer and opportunities provided by the Polish company are in line with the goals and needs of the Indonesian government, which plans to accelerate the process of electrification of the transport system. After the presentation of the company’s solutions and a visit at the Ekoen Alternative Fuel Station, the Ambassador emphasised that the key area of interest for the Indonesian side are not only the technologies and products of Ekoenergetyka-Polska, but also the company’s unique experience in the implementation of charging systems, as well as joint educational initiatives.

The aim of the newly established Polish-Indonesian Platform for Electromobility is to facilitate business relations and the exchange of experiences between Polish and Indonesian entities. One of the goals is also to enable and strengthen cooperation in terms of education and innovation in the field of electromobility.
