Nomination of Ekoenergetyka-Polska in the SME Leader category
At the evening gala during the 3rd edition of the Congress 590 in Rzeszów, the Economic Awards of the President of the Republic of Poland were awarded. Ekoenergetyka-Polska was the finalist in the category of the SME Leader! Congress 590 is an important economic event, a meeting and discussion place for representatives of business, science and politics.
The nomination for the award is a great honor for us. It is important to us that our efforts for quiet cities and clean air through electrification of public transport have been appreciated. This is the best proof that our actions are heading in the right direction – commented Bartosz Kubik, President of Ekoenergetyka-Polska.
Ekoenergetyka-Polska and the National Centre for Research and Development
Cooperation of the Zielona Góra-based company with the polish National Centre for Research and Developement enabled the participation in the competition – NCR&D notified Ekoenergetyka-Polska. Currently there are two projects run by Ekoenergtyka and supported by NCBiR: “DC powered electric buses charging station” and “Autonomous charging system for electric buses”. Both projects are co-financed by the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund under the Smart Growth Operational Programme 2014-2020. The first effects of the conducted R&D works are visible. In Kraków works a 160kW pantograph charging station powered from the overhead contact line.
From the very beginning, our company focuses on the implementation of R&D works, so that each product is a unique project tailored to meet the expectations and needs of our customers. We are glad that our cooperation with the National Centre for Research and Development brings real results in the form of new solutions and nominations for the President of the Republic of Poland’s Economic Award – adds Maciej Wojeński, Vice-President of Ekoenergetyka-Polska.
This year alone, Ekoenergetyka delivered nearly 80 charging stations to such markets as Germany, Sweden, Norway, Spain, Turkey and Poland and signed contracts for the supply of stations for Hamburg, Poznań and PKN Orlen. These orders are the best example for the promotion of the Polish economy on global markets.
