Konin – charging stations are waiting for electric buses

Another city has emerged which is moving towards zero-emission public transport – Konin. We have just installed three electric bus charging stations there, which will be supplied by Solaris Bus & Coach.

We have supplied and installed in Konin three double-output plug-in charging stations with 120 kW each – Plug Charger FX 120. They are located at the MZK depot at Maria Dąbrowska Street. One device can be connected to one vehicle with CCS Combo 2 connector (it will then charge with 120 kW) or two – then buses will be charged with 60 kW each.

Infrastructure tests are planned for mid-year when Solaris Bus & Coach will deliver electric buses to Konin.  The expansion of the local MZK fleet is the result of the project “Ecological Konin – development and promotion of low-emission urban transport”.
