Ekoenergetyka expands sales to Romania by acquiring a new official distributor, Misola Srl.

Ekoenergetyka’s innovative EV charging stations are being offered now in Romania by our newly acquired official distributor — Misola Srl. This Romanian company is moving a step forward to promote green technologies and effectively contributes to the increase in the volumes of EV charging points in the country. According to official numbers, as of 2020 Romania had less than 500 public charging points, constituting 0.2% of the EU total.

Both, Ekoenergetyka and Misola, are strengthening their position in the Romanian EV charging infrastructure by supplying innovative and technologically processed chargers. The expected raise of EV numbers and growing demand on charging points in Romania must be supported by solid and proven solutions. We are happy to get involved into this opportunity and to deploy our extensive experience on this market — states Anna Bodnar, Director of Distribution Development, Ekoenergetyka Sales.

Misola Corporation SRL, operating within SDT Group since 2019, has built a well-established and varied experience in service of trolleys, conventional, electric, hybrid, and hydrogen buses and, as of now, entered the electric car market to offer diverse charging solutions.

A main area of their expertise is specialization in technical support, repair and maintenance, as well as supply of spare parts. On European market they are official Romanian after sales dealer for Solaris Bus & Coach.

We are honored to represent such a brand as Ekoenergetyka. During the time that we are present on the market of Romania, we have learned that environmental awareness is growing rapidly here. People are going more and more towards electrification — especially in public transport area. Hopefully, with joined forces, this trend will grow even bigger, and we will become recognizable on the entire market —concludes Mihailo Todorovic, CEO of Misola.
