Three universities and 7 companies - among them Ekoenergetyka-Polksa - signed a letter of intention in Kraków on 28.11.2016, commiting themselves to the creation of a cluster “Polish Electric Bus - supply chain for electric mobility”.

The aim of the cluster is joint R&D in the field of electric buses, charging systems and batteries. Planned budget is 100mln zł (22mln €), of which part will come from project partners and the rest should come from other funds. Besides Ekoenergetyka, members of the cluster include, among others, Groupe EC and Impact Clean Power Technology as well as universities: AGH University of Science and Technology, Poznan University of Technology and Warsaw University of Technology and the initiative is led by Solaris Bus & Coaach. Ekoenergetyka-Polska will support initiatives around advanced charging systems for e-buses.
